Fan Club

Last week Cecilia was in a play at her school and had one of the larger speaking roles. She had A LOT of fans in the audience. This included: Momlissa & Dadam, Grandma I, Grandpa I, Grandma K, Grandpa K, Auntie Jenny, Uncle Jamie, Auntie Landi, Uncle Bill, Cousin Vanessa, Cousin Vanessa's boyfriend (and Cecilia's secret crush), James, Family BFF Lindsay and, of course, Ruby.

That's 14 people, two of them coming from as far away as Chicago. Any guesses as to who is the first grandchild in our family? Anyway, she did a terrific job and didn't seem to be the tiniest bit nervous. Here she is getting some grandparent love after the show:

It's a Jungle Out There!

Goodbye, Old Year (And R.I.P., Shellfish).

As Momlissa promised, here are some pictures from our second annual lobster night. (We added creme brulee this year too.) A fun time was had by all, and most importantly a hangover was not had by Dadam the next day (unlike last year).

Pizza Party

The other night we had over Auntie Landi and Bill and ordered pizza for dinner. The next morning Ruby discovered there was leftover pizza, and thought it would make for a delicious breakfast. Here she is, having recently arisen, wearing her bathrobe and eating pizza. That's our Ruby girl...

(Not to worry, I'm sure she ate vegetables at some point that day.)

Dadam and the girls were VERY excited to cook and eat lobsters on New Year's Eve with Landi and Bill. Here are the before, after, and after-after shots from a terrific evening with good food, lots of fun, and people we love. Happy New Year!
