This morning Ruby did NOT want to get up. Her grandma and grandpa babysat last night, so the girls ate way too much sugar and stayed up way too late. In fact, when we walked in the door last night the first thing Ruby said was, "We drank soda!" Nice job, Grandma.
Anyway, when I went in to wake the girls this morning they were not excited to greet the day. After much nudging and speaking-softly on my part, Ruby finally lifted her head and hollered at me, "Stop waking us up, Mommy!"
Can you imagine what she'll be like as a teenager?!
