Maybe they've been watching too many British movies/musicals for grownups . . .

Overheard Ruby playing with friends yesterday and crying out in a rich British accent, "No you don't, you bawstard!" Had to laugh when I heard Cici whisper, "Um, Ruby, that's a bad word . . ."

Oooooops.

Ruby turned 6. Last month. I don't know what to say other than we've been pretty busy...

Breakfast.

One thing that always gives me a kick about the girls is their love of boring breakfast cereals. Cici's favorite is Cheerios, and Ruby's is Quaker Oatmeal Squares.

As a special treat for their birthdays, their great grandmother always gives them boxes of sugar cereals, which she knows they don't normally get at home. It's a cute and quite special tradition.

So, for Ruby's birthday in May she received a box of Froot Loops - but what Grandma Two doesn't know is that, by choice, Ruby only ate it after all her Quaker Oatmeal Squares were gone!
