Hiatus

The blog has been on a bit of a hiatus for the spring/summer, in part because so much has changed in our world, but also because the little girls that we used to write about have turned into big girls - the blog just feels ... different now.  In addition, may of the little quips and anecdotes that populated this blog in the past five years are now being posted on facebook - maybe even 100% of our readership is now getting all this information there.

At the same time, looking back through old blog posts makes me sad that I haven't done a better job of updating things over the past several months, because it really is such a lovely little scrapbook of the girls' lives.  Seems like a good time for Adam and I to talk about the future of this space - update it regularly, close down shop, or something in between. 

The girls are now 10 and 7, respectively, and it's such a treat to look back at the photos, stories, and occasional video to see how much has changed since we started this blog in 2007.  Talking with friends who have infants of their own, I've turned into one of those parents who says things like, "It goes by in the blink of an eye!"  But really, it does.
