This reminds me of a story when Abby (who is now 23) said to her Mom many years ago - Abby was probably 8 or 9. Ann (her Mom) came out dressed for the evening to go out with Mike and she asked Abby how she looked. Abby's response was "You look as good as you can Mom." Good thing Ann's self esteem was firmly in place.
